Chances are if you’re now starting out in affiliate marketing, you probably do not know how to set up a website good enough to promote Clickbank products.

This is quite ok because you can (yes, its possible) promote Clickbank products without having website.

I’ve used these techniques before and made money. A small word of advice though – if you want to scale up your affiliate marketing business then you’ll need to re-invest some of the money you make promoting Clickbank products into getting a website.
You’ll have a lot more freedom to do what you like as there are limitations when using these methods.

Ok, allow me to share these three methods you can use.

1. Write a Short Report and Give it Away

There aren’t many affiliates using this method but you can tap into the existing traffic sources of already established websites.

All you need to do is write a short report and convert it to PDF format (ebook).

This can be done easily with an online pdf converter or even more easily using Google Docs. If you can write a short article, then you can do this.

You’ll need to properly research your niche and come up with a topic that you can help them with. Embedding your affiliate link throughout the report is what’s going to make this work.

If you had a website, you’d give away the report through the use of an email list but since we don’t have one then we’re just going to use other people’s websites.

Find these websites that are related to the product you’ll be promoting and contact the webmaster asking them to give away the report on their site.

Many sites will jump at the opportunity to provide free, informative and helpful content to their readers.

This is a win-win-win situation for you, the site owner and the people you are trying to reach.
2. Forum Marketing

This works well too. You join a forum related to the product you’re promoting with the intention of helping the other forum members.

Don’t start promoting your product as soon as you join a forum as this would only lead to getting banned and hated on.

Instead, gain trust by leaving helpful comments and participating in discussions. Then you can introduce your signature which will be attached to every post you make.

Your signature will get clicked on (if you make it interesting enough) from forum members and also from people visiting the forums from search engines and other sources.

3. Direct Article Marketing

I saved this method for last because this is one of my favorite ways to promote Clickbank products without a website.

Since you don’t have a website, regular article marketing won’t work because most directories don’t allow affiliate links.

However, for those that do all you need to do is write your article and embed your affiliate link and submit it.

There are some sites, Squidoo and Hubpages in particular that are different from article directories.

These sites allow you to write and format your articles with photos, video and other stuff like polls etc. You can make very engaging content much like if you actually used a website of your own.

But the biggest benefits of using these sites is that you can embed your affiliate link. These sites rank high in the search engines if you do them properly along with good keyword research.

You can gain sales from all these methods, so if you don’t have a website then you can get started immediately still.

choose keywords that have at least 4 words in them.
Put these keywords in the title of the post.
Include the keyword once for ever 100 words of text you write.
choose related keywords for your labels and tags.

Step 3. Promote Your blog site

Use forum marketing

Register with forums that are related to your topic and fill in your profile including the website link section. This gives you a link back to your profile from a related website.

Include a signature file that links back to your blog. This will be added to every post that you make and will lead to people visiting your blog. You can also link to a specific post.

One of the benefits of doing this is that you will also get some links going back to your site which contributes to search engine optimization.

You can get links by leaving relevant comments on blogs with your website in the link field. These comments should contribute to the topic in some way and shouldn’t be something like “nice post. Thanks” That will only get your comment deleted which will waste your time and effort.

This is my favorite free way to promote Clickbank products. The side effect of this is that it also builds links to your blog and helps with SEO.

To use article marketing, you write short articles and submit them to the top article directories on the web with a link back to your promotion or straight to the Clickbank product.

Some directories do not allow affiliate links so this is the main reason why we have the blog. You can link to the blog where your visitor will go first before reading your review on the blog and then off to the merchant site.

Another way to benefit from article marketing is to cut out the blog site and just link directly to the merchant site with your hop link.

Sites such as Squidoo and Hubpages are my favorite for doing this type of article marketing and I’ve had literally hundreds of sales using these sites for direct article marketing.
